When did the Creek Indian War take place?

The Creek Indian War (1813-1814), happened because the Georgia and Alabama Creek were worried that the settlers were taking over their land.   Tecumseh, the Shawnee Chief, led an uprising to unite the Creek with other tribes in fighting the settlers. On August 30, 1813, Red Eagle, aka William Weatherford, led an attack on Fort Mims, in which over 500 settlers were killed.  On November 3, The U.S. settlers fought back  by attacking and  and destroying Talladega, an Indian village in Alabama, killing over 500 Native warriors. The war ended with the Battle of Horseshoe Bend in March of 1814.
